Duos that are accepted will receive notification by 1st April 2011 at the latest. They will then also receive the list with 5 obligatory songs.
Admission and mandatory repertoire
- The maximum number of participants is limited to 28.
- All 28 duos that are allowed to the competition receive a list with 5 (five) songs, that have to be studied, the so-called mandatory repertoire. From this list the jury chooses several songs for the first and second rounds of the competition.
- In addition, every duo receives a song that has been composed especially for the occasion of the competition. All duos that make it into the second round will perform this song.
- All songs have to be sung by heart, with the exemption that the Artistic Director may decide that the commissioned composition may be sung from score. Consult us to be sure on this point!
