The bus and train station is in the middle of the town. The National Music Quarter and conservatory, where the competition will take place, are about 3-5 minutes walking from bus and train station.

Directions
From Amsterdam, Schiphol airport
By airplane to Schiphol airport Amsterdam:
Directly from arrivals you can take an Intercity train to Enschede. The train departs at hh:19m and hh:49m every hour from platform nr.4. The 49-train is a direct train to Enschede. Enschede is the terminus (ultimate destination).
For the 19-train switch in Amersfoort to the train to Enschede on platform 1.

From Düsseldorf Airport, Germany
By airplane from Düsseldorf Airport:
Directly from arrivals you can take a Intercity train to Münster or Dortmund. In Münster or Dortmund you have to change trains and take a train to Enschede.
From Köln, Germany
By car from Köln:
Follow A3 motorway till Oberhausen, at Oberhausen turn onto A2 direction Hannover, at Kreuz Bottrop turn onto A31 in the direction of Emden. Take the exit Gronau and Enschede. Follow traffic signs to Enschede centrum / station.
From Hannover, Germany
By train from Hannover (or Berlin):
There is an international express. You have to change trains at Hengelo (NL, first stop after Dutch-German border) There you take a train to Enschede centraal (5 min.)

Follow A2 in the direction of Dortmund. At Bad Oeynhausen turn onto A30 in the direction of Amsterdam. After crossing the border, take the second exit from the highway (Oldenzaal). Follow traffic signs to Enschede centrum / station.
From Bruxelles or Paris, Belgium/France:
By train from Bruxelles (or Paris):
There is an international high speed train from Paris through Bruxelles called Thalys. You have to change trains in Rotterdam Centraal. From there you take the Intercity train to Amersfoort. The train departs at hh:02m and hh:32 every hour from platform nr. 14. In Amersfoort change trains to Enschede at platform 1. Enschede is the terminus.

By car from Paris (Bruxelles):
Follow the A1 motorway in the direction north (Lille). At Antwerp turn onto E19 in the direction of Breda. After crossing the Belgian-Dutch border, take the first turn onto the A58 to Tilburg. At Tilburg turn onto A65 in the direction ’s-Hertogenbosch. Turn onto A2/A50 in the direction of Apeldoorn. At Apeldoorn turn onto A1 in the direction Hengelo. At Hengelo turn onto A35 in the direction Enschede. Follow traffic signs to Enschede centrum / station.
