The next edition of the International Student LiedDuo Competition will take place 19-22 November 2026 in Groningen! 

In the jury we proudly look forward to welcome tenor Christoph Prégardien (Germany), mezzo-soprano Barbara Kozelj (Slovenia), soprano Anne Schwanewilms (Germany, Weimar), pianist Pauliina Tukiainen (Finland, Mozarteum Salzburg), pianist Sholto Kynoch (UK, Oxford Song) and pianist/artistic director Hans Eijsackers (Netherlands, Düsseldorf) and in the semifinals they will be joined by programmer Tamar Brüggemann, (Netherlands, Festival Wonderfeel).

The compulsory song, with working title “In Circles”, will be written by young Dutch composer Catharina Clement. The text is supposed to give the central theme for your program in the semifinals, and can be found here.
